About Andrea
Andrea grew up in Lynnfield Ma. and graduated from Lynnfield High School . At graduation she received an award for excellence in art. She continued on with her studies and attended Montserrat College of Art for 4 years, then went on to study at the DeCordova Museum School.
She has worked as both a teacher and an artist since finishing art school, including leading/teaching arts and crafts for the Lynnfield Summer Recreational Program and was a floral designer.
In 1992 she started her own business, Andrea Originals, Painting Heaven. Painting both clothing and decorative wood, as well as pursuing her love for painting in both oils/acrylics and water colors. She also accepts commissioned work.
In 2007 Andrea illustrated the Holy Rosary for Children and it was published by Our Sunday Visitor a leading Catholic publisher. Also in 2007 Andrea’s stain glass Angel was chosen for print in Angels on Earth Magazine, July /August issue.
She is a member of the Lynnfield Art Guild ,the Danvers Art Association and it’s gallery, an Associate member of the North Shore Arts Association. Exhibiting her paintings in various shows sponsored by these organizations. She has also shown her work at the Topsfield Fair, The North Shore Arts Association, The Saugus Art Festival and Winthrop Art Association Show. She also has been the membership records committee chairmen for the Danvers Art Association and is an art committee member for the Topsfield Fair. Andrea accepted the nomination for President of The Danvers Art Association.2008-2010.
Andrea lives and works in Ipswich Ma. with her husband, and continues to paint as well as garden and enjoys her artistic gift that has brought her much happiness and fulfillment over the years.
